Masterclass in Goldsmithing

You will work in our workshop on Hyskenstræde in central Copenhagen. It’s a very cozy space with 4 workstations, where a friendly atmosphere and good collaboration are key!

To participate in this jewelry-making workshop, you need to have basic skills. This means you can saw, file, solder, and have an understanding of metal properties.

You are able to use machines and larger tools such as a rolling mill, micromotor, hammers, etc.

You can work at the bench using a soldering torch.

You are welcome to bring your own small personal tools, such as a saw frame, pliers, etc. Tools can also be borrowed from Limit Design Collective.

You may bring your own materials, such as silver, gold, and/or solder, or purchase them through Limit Design Collective.

An initial consultation can take place at Limit Design Collective or online by agreement. Here we will go through:

• Drawings or a concept for one or more pieces of jewelry you wish to create, or old jewelry you want to repair or transform

• Clarification of any questions you may have, so I can guide you as precisely as possible

• Techniques and materials for your design (metal and any gemstones)

You will receive the necessary supplier information, or I can order materials for you.

When?

Sessions are scheduled by agreement. Weekdays from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM – other times possible by arrangement

Prices:

Single session (5 hours): DKK 1,400 incl. VAT (185€)

Consecutive sessions: DKK 1,200 incl. VAT (160€)
